And the Bride wore....Vera Wang

Hi Guys!
Hope you are all well and enjoying the beginning of your week :)

I had to do a quick post to show these amazing dresses I've only just discovered. I have been in LOVE with vera wang bridal gowns for a very long time now and can only dream of ever wearing one (id happily sleep in one). However the thought of a black wedding dress has never been exciting to me...maybe the tables have turned....dont get me wrong I love a classic white or ivory gown but these new designs are just unbelievable. I love nearly all of them....but one in particular as it has ruffles of my favourite colour....nude! And the way she has designed it just makes me go week at the knees.

A/W 2011 Furness & Russell....Jewellery Collection

Who fancies a wedding in Essex then...?

Hey Guys!

I think I have post wedding blues and it wasn't it even who got married! I have spent so much time focusing on the wedding and the build up I feel totally deflated and empty now its all done! Alot of you know it was my big bro's wedding to the lovely Gemma, the day was truely magical and I cant fault anything at all, maybe apart from the air conditioning but come on seriously...

Gemma looked absolutly STUNNING and glowed throughout the whole day! I was bridesmaid along with 2 other lovely ladies, and I have to admit when I got to the end of the aisle and saw my brother in his navy uniform I did cry a little bit but I was just so happy. They looked so in love and you could really feel it.

Wowzas

Hey you lot :)

I have alot to tell you about...

First things first...hope your all ok! Iv had a mad few weeks and havnt really known where my brain has been! The main thing I want to share with you is this amazing gift I had off one of my closest friends for my birthday, bless her lttle heart she was quite scared to give it to me as Im not as 'adventurous' with vintage as she is YET ;) and she though I may hate it and possibly cry lol. But anyway...I LOVED IT....its a stunning playsuit from COW VINTAGE in Birmingham! They have them dotted all over the country and when I was at uni in Nottingham, i used to pop in but never had the money to really buy anything (i treated myself to some boots at the begining of the year once as i just had my loan...very sneaky). Nexxxxtttttt thing i wanted to tell you about was to do with my business! I have been struggling lately to decide what to do with it, whether it needed to start from the very begining again....So i have decided to take a step back from the fairs and markets for a while and try and organise my life, I wanted to decide on a name that had a more chic high end feel to it. I started to think of things I could link personally to it, regarding names and specific things i remembered from my grandma. Eventually, after writing down tonnes of STUPID names I found THE ONE. I wanted something I could use in regards to both my vintage business and my bespoke stationery line (for when it takes off).....

They are my grandmas and Nans maiden names....cute.

So so so pleased with it and I feel so inspired to get the ball rolling again. However....this time im taking it step my step, no rushing :)

so watch this space guys, you'll be the first people to know about my venture :D

Finallllllllyyyyyyy.......THE WEDDING is so close now!! its like a week on thursday and I am just preapring my self for two weeks of madness! Yesterday I visited my relatives (who have flown over from san fransisco for the wedding) in Nottingham to catch up, it was so lovely, as I havnt seen them in 5 years!

So on wednesday....tinas father....my moms brother is arriving with his wife, flying in from New York..for the wedding of course....I literally cannot wait to see them....i think i may cry!!

Then on Saturday, we all go down to Essex for a week and stay in a Barn conversion, its going to be amazing just hanging out with them everyday...(trying to hide the fact I wont have a moments rest as the wedding is on the thursday)

I know I have totally rambled on...but its all just so exciting!!!

Belated Birthday wishes and a handful of Vintage Goodies!

Happy Wednesday! its 3 more sleeps for me until hen do part 2 of my future sister in law Gemma and its going to be a big one. I cant wait. I will be sharing photos of both hen do's with you next week, but for now....i realised last night I havnt really done a post about vintage clothes, bags and all other lovelies I have found on my shopping trips! ( mainly because i have had no money lol) but today I met up with a friend..the lovely emma, who had some amazing bday gifts for me! And we had a wonder around the charity shops in dudley. I picked up some lovelie things to freshen up my wardrobe...we also stopped for a drink and cake...which after we both decided we could eat another one but didnt....regretting it now...i just fancy a scone.

Here are my new things!
A gorgeous red leather clutch bag, originally from BHS and it was only 95p!! The pictures make it look tiny but its actually just under a4 size!

The next thing I got was a gorgeous lilac blouse which i think was £1.95 from the pdsa!

And then finally is a cute little button up blouse...I will probably wear it open over something else..or buttoned up with something highwaisted. Its so cute, I love it, and it was £1.95 too i think :)
