Part 2 of my Glossy Box review! (The Products I hadn't tried yet...)

Heeeeyyyyyy!

Just like I promised guys, here is my second part of the review for Aprils Glossy box!

INIKA COSMETICS Certified Organic Eye-liner (£11.75 per liner)

Now, as you are aware, from my previous post, green eye-liner isn't usually my cup of tea. I have given it a go...and unfortunately I'm still not 100% sold.

It goes on super smooth onto the back of my hand...but I found it was abit of a struggle to get the exact texture under my eye...The photos below show it with a smoky eye for everyday, but I don't think you can even see the colour of the eye-liner....I really don't know how I feel about it.

I'm really disappointed with this product and cant say when I'll be wearing it again. However I may take it on holiday with me this year and see if it takes my fancy when I have a little bit of a glow.

PHILIP B Drop Dead Straightening Balm (£17.00 full size / 178ml)

HURRAH for silky smooth hair! Finally a straightening balm that isn't greasy and still allows you to style with a large brush! I LOVE this and strongly recommend it to anybody that has frizzy/wavy/curly hair naturally. As soon as I put it onto my wet hair it felt like silk... and the comb travelled through it like a breeze! I sometimes have problems when drying my hair with a large round brush...with the hot air blowing it everywhere and making it almost impossible to style it neatly...FEAR NOT...this is the product that allows you to create a sleek and smooth blow dry!
What do you think?

Please ignore my pyjamas...I have been to the gym this morning and just fancied abit of comfort after my shower...he he.

Big Kisses

There's a first time for everything...Glossy Box April Edition 2012

Wow Guys. I'm very excited to do this post!

First of all, I hope you are all well, and thanks again for taking a look at my post! :)

So earlier this week I got my first ever Glossy Box, I was so excited for it to arrive. I have been contemplating signing up to it for a while, I have watched and read so many reviews and they all look and sound amazing, SO I JUST WENT FOR IT! And my my my, am I pleased I did, already I cant wait for next months box!

A first impressions go it arrived in a dinky little box all neatly sealed! Then the actual glossy box itself was in a gorgeous cream organic/textured box....which will look perfect placed in my room somewhere..! Too excited to wait any longer, of course, I opened it up and it was even more beautifully packaged inside, with an organic ribbon and delicate tissue paper, it felt so special to open and I really felt like I was treating myself! Amazing...

I am so pleased with the Products that are in Aprils box...I felt a bit silly doing a personal selection of the things that I would prefer to receive when I signed up, but after receiving this I can see why they do it, rather than just sending out any old products!

So as you can see its a yummy little box and I was so excited to look at everything. Of course, I reckon you can guess what the first thing I picked up was...?

FIGS & ROUGE Lip Balm '100% pure, 100% Natural & 100% Organic Multi-purpose balm. Excellent for soothing and naturally hydrating dry lips and skin!'
This baby....everything about it is attractive to me! I loooooove little lip Balms like this and the vintage inspired packaging just put the icing on the cake! Its a gorgeous balm, and feels 'beady' when you put it on, but as you smooth it in they dissapear and its so moisturising and smooth, and lasts for ages! Perfect for chapped lips or any part of your skin that's dry...especially hands and elbows! PLUS the peppermint smell/flavour is to die for.

MONU PROFESSIONAL SKINCARE Enriched Body Cream ' A rich, indulgent cream to comfort and nourish the skin. Skin feels soft, smooth and nourished.'
Guys, this does exactly what it says on the tin! Its GORGEOUS and smells like lemons...which is always a winner. This body cream costs £23.00 for a full size 200ml bottle...now if that's not a taste of luxury for a beauty junkie, I don't know what is!?

PHILIP B Drop dead straightening balm 'Philip B drop dead straightening balm is a non-greasy, silicone-free water-soluble styling aid that gives curly or wavy hair a straight, tangle-free, and sleek finish.'
Now, I haven't tried this yet as I rarely have my head dead straight, but because its a new product I haven't heard of or used before I'm going to use it tomorrow and do a separate blog post for it to show you the results.

CAUDALIE Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum 'This newly-launched ultra-concentrated serum is extremely natural and plant-based, ensuring your skin never lacks moisture. The deluxe size is also exclusive to GLOSSY BOX.'
I don't usually use serums as I have found them quite greasy in the past. Now this one isn't greasy and its fantastic. It makes your skin SUPER smooth and leaves you feeling coated in luxury. Its lovely under foundation and also popped on before you go to bed after cleansing and toning. Its extremely pricey when bought in stores. It costs a whopping £29.00 for 30ml....but I'm telling you now...you can see why once you have tried it.

INIKA COSMETICS Certified Organic Eye-liner 'A rich and creamy consistency unparalleled in the world of natural liners.'
I was quite impressed to see I has an eye-liner in the box, I am obsessed with make-up and given the chance to try something new is always appealing to me. HOWEVER...the colour isn't something I usually go for...but I will trust the gods at glossy box and try it out... I'm assuming they sent me this to compliment my hair colour and eye colour?? I haven't yet tried it...but again I will pop a picture in my next post along with the straightening balm to show you what it is like! You can see the colour below on the back of my hand...its stunning and is a perfect metallic eye-liner!!!

So there you go guys...I hope you have enjoyed reading the post...and maybe I have tempted some of you to order your own glossy box? I really do recommend it to anybody that's adventurous with products and loves trying something new! I cannot wait till I get May's Edition!

Much Love
