February Favourites...

Hey Hey Hey!

Happy Wednesday! Im doing my first ever 'Favourite' blog post! Im planning on doing one every month from now on, just to let you guys know what my favourite products are at that moment in time!

1.)Dirty Works (Sainsburys) Body Scrub & Body Butter - These two products are FANTASTIC. I absolutly love them both, and they arnt too expensive! However the body butter isnt really a 'butter' like you would expect, its more of a really thick cream, which is even better for me as I find butters can be greasy.

2.) Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid (In Ivory, in case you wanted to know) - I got this foundation as a second best for when I dont want to use my special foundation. I got it due to the fact it was on offer (£4.50 usually about £8ish i think) and felt nice on my hand (I know, its hardly a satisfactory reason) However its so smooth and silky, its like an airwhipped foundation but in liquid form, so so so lovely when you put it on!

3.) MAC Studio Sculpt SPF15 Foundation (again in NW20 if you want to know) This is my new 'special foundation' before this I have always sworn by Estee Lauder Doublewear and I will probably use it again one day, but I have wanted to try this for a long time, after seeing it on many makeup tutorials and reviews. At £23 for the tube, its definatly worth the money I have paid for it! Its got buildable technology which enables you to layer up if you feel you need more coverage, it leaves you with a gorgeous dewy effect, but what i love about it, is that you can easily put powder on top of it with out it clinging and going clumpy, which happens alot with dewy finish foundations!

4.) MAC Zoom Lash Mascara Volume Instant - Favourite mascara EVER...comes in at £14....worth every penny. LOVVVVEEEE IT. Need I say any more???

5.) PRIMARK Beauty Very Fluttering Sultry Eyelashes with adhesive! - ONLY £1 can you believe it! I think they are gorgeous, they may not be the best quality but ever do you see eyelashes that cheap that look that nice??

6.) Barry M Lipstick in 154 - I first saw this lipstick reviewed on another blog and fell in LOVE. Its EXACTLY the same colour as MAC 'Hue'(one of my favourite lipsticks ever). It cost about £4.99 I think, I may be wrong but im sure alot of people are familiar to BARRY M prices. They have recently changed their lipsticks to a more creamy texture which is fantastic, as the old lip paints were so dry and thick. They still dry my lips out, but not as much, I just cant get over the colour match to 'hue'. Give it a go and try it out for yourself!

7.) THIERRY MUGLER - Alien eau de Parfum - Amazeballs. My favourite at the moment. I dont need to say anything else.

So, that my friends was my February favourites! Have you used any of these products before? Let me know your thoughts, I would love to hear from you.

xoxo

Honey Trap...

Hi Lovelys!

This post is just a small one to share a GORGEOUS nail polish I have had for a while but only just tried it out, I regret that i havnt used it any sooner as its stunning!

The polish is from the LEIGHTON DENNY collection, and it was ordered off QVC before Christmas, Im not sure if it was in a pack of many or bought on its own as my mum ordered it.

I know NEXT now sell Leighton Dennys nail products on their website, but you cant actually get this colour from there, its just mainly 'rescue' packs with different things in them, all suited to different outcomes you are after.

But of course, the Leighton Denny website has the colour to buy on its own, its called HONEY TRAP and its £11, its quite pricey if you are not used to buying expensive nail varnish...but I can honestly say you pay for the quality, its brilliant, rarely chips and its just as good as O.P.I and NAILS INC. I would say its a clay/mink colour which is perfect all year round, with its pastel hues and cool tones it makes it wearable this time of year, and perfect for the up and coming pastel spring!

The link for the nail varnish is here....http://www.leightondenny.com/product-detail/default.aspx?ProductId=187&ProductCategoryId=4 (dont be fooled by the lilac shade on screen, you will see below in my own pictures the actual colour!)

Hope you guys like it just as much as I do...yummy.

xoxo
